Press Release Summary: Former technology executive picked to run Philadelphia-based
technology services nonprofit.

Press Release Body: Patrick Callihan was named the executive director for
Philadelphia-based NPower Pennsylvania, a nonprofit that assists over 300 nonprofit
organizations with their technology needs, enabling them to better achieve their
missions through efficient and effective use of technology.

Prior to joining NPower PA, Patrick held the position of marketing director at CAI,
a privately held information technology firm located in Wilmington, Delaware. As the
director of marketing for CAI, he administered the sales function, developed
strategic marketing campaigns, and oversaw public and community relations.

Callihan and fellow CAI executives made CAI’s generous donation of a fully-staffed
computer help desk to NPower PA possible. The CAI help desk receives calls daily
from over 85 of NPower PA’s nonprofit clients. "Having had the opportunity to
partner with NPower Pennsylvania over the past several years, I have gained
tremendous respect and admiration for the organization and their mission,” Callihan
said.

A member of CAI’s senior management team, Callihan managed marketing operations,
customer relationship management, partnerships, and alliances. During his tenure
with CAI, he also developed a line of business in software testing.

“NPower PA is connected to the Greater Philadelphia region’s corporate community in
a way few nonprofits are through its CIO Council [an advisory council consisting of
35 Chief Information Officers and technology executives from our region’s most
prestigious companies],” Callihan said. “I am excited to connect my passion for
technology and Philadelphia’s business community with my passion for community
service.”

Patrick has served in a number of local community service groups including Junior
Achievement, United Way, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He currently serves on the
corporate board of directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Delaware.

A graduate of Goldey-Beacom College of Business, Patrick is an active member of the
Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, Select Greater Philadelphia, and the
Greater Philadelphia Arts & Business Council.

More than 400 executives and community leaders will be in attendance at NPower PA’s
upcoming Nonprofit Technology Awards Luncheon on October 31. Due to generous
sponsorship support from Microsoft, AT&T, The Judge Group, and SAP, all of the
proceeds will go to benefit NPower PA’s mission and the over 300 nonprofits it
serves. For more information, visit www.npowerpa.org.
